Names in other languages commented out?

Is there a reason why the some of the "Names in other languages" tables are commented out? Gomtuu (talk) 17:16, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

At the time, I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted such info (no matter how small) to be "out there" since I couldn't even find an official reveal for the Japanese and English names. Feel free to un-uncomment if you'd like. StarAdamStar (talk) 17:58, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Is it totally certain that there are three separate Staff?

From the outset I would like to make clear I don't intend this as just like aimless "lore discussion", but just questioning how much of this page's wording might be based in speculation, or at least jumping to conclusions.
The page currently seems to treat Sunken Scroll 24 as "confirming" that there are 3 separate Staff that all share the alias Marigold, but personally I had interpreted it as being a list of aliases used by the same person with several fake IDs, considering the "Subject Name: Marigold" part is singular. (Of course, I can only speak for the English version, so I'm not sure if other languages would point more in any specific direction.)
Additionally, in the Inkopolis Plaza DLC the Staff is specifically coded to not appear in more than one place at once, which could be taken to imply that it's only a single person moving to different locations. (Or alternatively, multiple people that just avoid being seen in the same place at once, so I suppose there's not really a specific conclusion to be drawn from this...)
I'm not completely certain, but perhaps it could be better to rephrase the page in a way that's less certain about Staff being multiple separate people, since as far as I can tell it still seems somewhat ambiguous? I could be completely wrong though... Pringlesfan2002 (talk) 20:31, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sturgeon Shipyard Quote

Deep Cut's Splatfest dialogue for Sturgeon Shipyard mentions Staff hanging around there (described as "the Recon Guide" and "the Crab-N-Go lady". I feel like that's worth mentioning on the page somewhere... trivia maybe? Lyichir (talk) 17:54, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It doesn't really seem worthy of noting, unless the trivia would point out the fact that not even idols can point out the difference between the Crab-N-go lady and the Recon lady... unless there's something else that i'm missing. -Random 18:14, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Three seperate Staff?

Considering what Pringlesfan said above, I feel like the Sunken Scroll is misinterpreted to suit the impression that we had of the character pre-release. I don't have much more that can be said that hasn't already been said, but I have the Japanese text for the scroll:

「対象名 "マザー" 追跡調査記録
ラン=チーユウ(偽名) 南エラ省オビレ市
アズマニショ (偽名) バンカラ3丁目3番地■■
ポワソン・ルージュ(偽名) シャトーフナ市 ■通り19-6」

While I do not speak Japanese, I know a few of our editors do, the original text might be handy. Olivia (talk) 10:05, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bumping because I feel it's important Olivia (talk) 13:43, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It is as ambiguous as other languages as far as I can tell. I'll reword the paragraph, though. Anemoia [Talk!] 17:05, 2 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
